Emergency Food Drive

It is amazing that we have collected about five tons of food and supplies thus far through Scottsdale’s Emergency Food Drive. The drive Scottsdale Seniors and Vista del Camino Food Bank (Check the SPC website for dates).


Drive through and drop items in bins.

Three locations:

  • First Baptist Church of Scottsdale (7025 E. Osborn Road, 85251).
  • Shepherd of the Desert Church (9590 E. Shea Blvd, 85260),
  • Pinnacle Presbyterian Church (25150 N Pima Rd, Scottsdale, AZ 85255).

Immediate need: Bottled Water, New reusable water bottles, Nutritional supplement drinks (Ensure/Boost regular and sugar-free, Gatorade, Propel), Healthy store-bought individually-wrapped snacks (pretzels, rains, crackers, trail mix, protein bars), Unused personal hygiene items (toothbrush, toothpaste, Chapstick, deodorant, lotion/aloe, sunscreen, body wash, shampoo/conditioner, hand/bar soap), Paper Products (Kleenex, toilet paper, paper towels), Books of Forever stamps, Summer relief items (mini fans, reusable ice packs, etc.), Grocery cards worth $35.00 (Fry’s preferred)

Items needed: Canned soups, peanut butter, canned corn, dry or canned beans, cereal and boxed prepared meals, such as mac and cheese and Hamburger Helper. Pet food (dog and cat) and various toiletries are also needed: toilet paper, paper towels, tissue, deodorant, shampoo, soap, dish soap, and dental hygiene products.

Only non-perishable food items. No citrus.
